Song Ru Ware Greyish Blue Celadon Glaze Narcissus Pot, Song Dynasty (960 - 1279)


Floral-shaped narcissus basin with celadon glaze, Ru ware.  The sides of the basin are evenly moulded into ten petal lobes rising up to an everted, conforming lobed mouth rim. It is resting on four crisply carved ruyi-shaped feet.

The exterior and rim are covered with a thick glaze of greyish blue tone, the interior are similarly covered.  The base is inscribed with two character NeiHu. Height 7.0 cm
