Pale Green Celadon Glaze Imperial Guan-Ware Vase, Song Dynasty (960 - 1279)

Well potted with two cloud-shaped ears at the side of its three-ringed neck rising from a pear shape body to a trumpet-shaped rim, supported by splay foot with foot ring unglazed revealing the dark brown clay, typically used Song Guan Ware. Overall covered with pale green glaze thinning at the rim revealing light grey colour.  Its foot ring is unglazed with reddish brown stain. 23 cm high.
