An Elegant Longquan Celadon Vase with Floral Decoration, Yuan Dynasty (1271 – 1368)

A well-potted Longquan celadon bulbous vase with incised floral decoration, over an elaborate petal lappet at the bottom, a short waisted neck to an everted rim. Supported on a short slightly tapered foot. Unglazed foot ring revealing the burnt r brown-reddish stoneware; 24 cm (height), 17 cm (diameter), at foot 9.2 cm (diameter).
