An Elegant And Large Dayazhai Yellow Ground Meiping Vase, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912)

Stoutly potted, the tapering body rising from a straight foot to rounded shoulders, sweeping up to a short cylindrical neck and a wide everted rim, applied overall with a homogenous yellow ground, decorated with colourful fruiting tree and blossoming flowers and a bird resting on the branch.  The shoulder inscribed with three character Dayazhai and the base with Yong Qing Chang Chun mark. H: 54 cm, D: 35 cm, 8.5 kg.
