A Rare Bottom Filling Water Olive Green Glazed Teapot, Five Dynasties of the Period (907 - 960)

The globular body mounted with an arched fish-head handle terminating with a domed floral bloom on top, the other shoulder set with a spout in the form of a lion with its mouth agape, the body carved with undulating floral blooms, covered overall in a fine pale olive-green glaze, the underside pierced with star shaped aperture, enabling it to be filled upside down, 13 cm, 5.2 inch high.
