A Rare Blue and White ‘Dragon’ Glaze Stem Bowl, Ming Dynasty and Period (1425-1435)

The bowl is supported on a cylindrical hollow slightly splay foot surrounded with band of banana petal motifs. The exterior is decorated with two five-clawed dragons among stylized ‘ruyi’ clouds. The interior base is XuanDe four character mark in underglaze blue within a double circles; 10 cm high, 16.5 cm diameter.
